Christine is ook weer een ander type vrouw als de dames uit de eerste boeken en dat is leuk. Kalen is ook weer anders als de andere Immortals en dat is erg leuk. In dit boek komt meer ‘death magic’ voor wat weer een heel andere sfeer geeft als de eerste twee boeken. Daarbij wordt de spanning steeds meer opgebouwd omdat je langzaam aan naar de grote ontknoping toe gaat. Ook in dit boek zijn er weer interessante bijfiguren en is er humor aanwezig in het verhaal waar ik zelf erg van hou Het wordt ook mooi omschreven qua omgeving dus je ziet de Schotse hooglanden voor je!
