Een heel bijzondere serie wat bij mij diverse gevoelens heeft opgeroepen
Het was een serie waarvan ik de boeken slecht kon wegleggen omdat ik door wilde bljiven lezen
Maar aan de andere kant had ik er soms ook moeite mee omdat the Brethren echt gruwelijke dingen uitspoken waardoor de boeken af en toe wel heel 'rauw' werden
Aan de andere kant werd dit wel weer in balans getrokken doordat Alexandra, de hoofdpersoon uit het eerste boek heel veel humor heeft
En zij komt dus in ieder boek weer terug
Verder waren de diverse hoofdpersonen steeds heel verschillend, het werd zeg maar niet 'één pot nat' en dat vond ik erg goed van deze boeken
Hoewel je echt toeleeft naar het laatste boek en dus het eind van alle gebeurtenissen bij elkaar door de boeken heen wordt je daar lichtelijk teleurgesteld...het verhaal is namelijk voor een gedeelte nog niet afgerond....er ontstaat een nieuwe serie waar dus een gedeelte van de verhaallijn in verder gaat.
Maar die boeken heb ik nog niet gelezen;
